Orient Football Club was established in 1984 by a few football players that was disgruntled with the management style of their old club, Silvertree.
We operate in Manenberg on the Cape Flats. This community is notorious for gang violence, drug abuse and a host of other social ills. Our aim is to give its members an alternative to the anti-social behaviour, which has become norm in our community.
We see the need to partner with other organizations to accomplish this goal.
We also see the opportunity to reach the top tier in South African Football. We boast very capable players, coaches and management to enable us to achieve this.
